{"id":484,"date":"2016-08-25T14:42:11","date_gmt":"2016-08-25T04:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monrealescookinginspirations.com\/?p=484"},"modified":"2021-01-30T09:28:13","modified_gmt":"2021-01-29T22:28:13","slug":"herb-crusted-rack-of-lamb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/monrealescookinginspirations.com\/index.php\/2016\/08\/25\/herb-crusted-rack-of-lamb\/","title":{"rendered":"Herb crusted rack of lamb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-485 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/monrealescookinginspirations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Herb-crusted-rack-of-lamb-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Herb crusted rack of lamb\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/monrealescookinginspirations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Herb-crusted-rack-of-lamb-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/monrealescookinginspirations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Herb-crusted-rack-of-lamb-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/monrealescookinginspirations.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Herb-crusted-rack-of-lamb.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #993300;\">This is a main course to impress!\u00a0 It has the delicious flavours of herbs mixed with French Dijon mustard&#8230;..so good.\u00a0 Remember to cook your lamb rack pink in the middle which retains more of the natural juices.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 lamb rack (8) &#8211; bones frenched and clean<\/li>\n<li>3 slices of day old sourdough bread &#8211; crusts removed<\/li>\n<li>Herbs such as parsley, rosemary\u00a0&amp; thyme<\/li>\n<li>1 clove of garlic crushed<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<\/li>\n<li>Salt &amp; Pepper<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Rub the lamb rack all over with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper, press into flesh.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oven to 180\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a ovenproof frypan on high heat on stovetop and sear all sides of the lamb.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from stovetop, and\u00a0place frypan and lamb rack into oven for approximately 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Take out of oven and let rest until about 25 minutes before serving time.<\/li>\n<li>Place sourdough bread into a food processor and process into breadcrumbs, add parsley, rosemary, thyme &amp; garlic, process until blended together.\u00a0 Place onto a plate.<\/li>\n<li>Spread Dijon mustard onto rack, and the press the rack into the herbed breadcrumb mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Place rack back into oven and bake for 15 minutes.
