The butterscotch sauce on top is so decadent but absolutely divine<\/em> \u2665\u2665\u2665<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200g chopped dates<\/li>\n<li>1\u00bc cups water<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp bicarbonate of soda<\/li>\n<li>60g unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup castor sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 cup self-raising flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Butterscotch sauce:-<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup brown sugar &#8211; firmly packed<\/li>\n<li>1 cup cream<\/li>\n<li>200g butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Grease 10 large muffin trays, line base with paper<\/li>\n<li>Combine dates and water in pan, bring to boil, remove from heat, add soda, stand 5 mins.<\/li>\n<li>Cream butter and sugar in a small bowl with electric mixer until well combined.<\/li>\n<li>Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. \u00a0Gently fold in sifted flour, then date mixture. \u00a0Pour into prepared trays.<\/li>\n<li>Bake in moderate oven about 20-30 mins or until cook through.<\/li>\n<li>Turn onto plates and pour sauce over the puddings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em><strong>Butterscotch sauce:-<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients in pan, stir over heat, without boiling until sugar is dissolved, then simmer, stirring for\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a03 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><b><i>Please leave a comment below or on the Instagram post if you have enjoyed this recipe so I know I&#8217;m making people happy \u2764\ufe0f<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I adore sticky date puddings and here I have made individual ones which are easily done in large muffin tins.
